Toshiba Shows Off Thinnest Android Tablet

Toshiba has shown off what is said to be the thinnest ever tablet computer - the Android OS based Excite X10.

It was reported that the tablet will offer an upgrade to Android 4.0 software later, which is the dedicated tablet OS from Google.

Hardware wise, the tablet comes with a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, front and rear cameras, with the main camera sporting a 5 megapixel sensor.

The Android 3.2 based tablet should start shipping later this month in both 16GB and 32GB versions at US$530 and US$600 respectively.
